A friend

There comes a point where it hits you where you can have many friends but still feel so alone, then the warmth of your family is what makes you feel better. Even if they don't know that you are tearing apart, you can feel that they are there. Unlike certain friends, they aren't always there when you need them. Or worse, they get jealous of you, they ditch you, they betray you, or things like that. I've just seen so many things like that happening... I'm not sure if its even normal for a friendship to not have any drama or hatred in between them, it would really be an aberration in my case. They love you for a second, then they don't. Then they love you again, then they don't. But sometimes you just don't want to walk away like that, not because you can't.. because there's just this thing that's holding you back, and making you wanting to still love them. Tsk, life.

I am blessed to have a friend who hanged on for as long as she could despite the many disagreements between us.

Eventually we all just learn to forget about the side of our friend that we abhor and love them, just because losing another friend is just... so tiring.
